Storage and handling

Vials ship lyophilised and are stable in transit. On arrival, store the sealed vial at the temperature given on its label, away from light. Allow a refrigerated vial to reach room temperature before it is opened, so moisture does not condense on the powder.

Reconstitute under sterile conditions with the diluent your protocol calls for. Add the diluent slowly against the wall of the vial and let the powder dissolve on its own rather than shaking it. Once reconstituted, keep the solution refrigerated and use it within the window your own validation supports.

Handle as you would any uncharacterised research material: gloves, eye protection and a designated work area. Do not use this product in or on humans or animals. Dispose of the vial and any unused solution through your laboratory waste stream.
